Mountaineering services offered: Currently based in the Yorkshire Dales and, as a caving specialist, have detailed knowledge of limestone topography both at home and abroad. Caving and Mountaineering Instructor CIC MIC. Specialist in mountain and cave rescue training. Available for technical training, advice, and leadership, above and below ground, throughout the year.
UK Mountain Experience: UK wide but have detailed knowledge of the mountains and fells of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and Scottish Highlands.
European Mountain Experience: Norway, Spain and France; in particular the Chamonix area, parts of Provence, and more recent and detailed knowledge of the Vercors and Chartreuse limestone regions.
World-wide Mountaineering Experience: Previous experience / knowledge of Alaska (but not current).
Other Information: CRB enhanced clearance. Unrestricted D1 (PSV - for hire and reward) minibus licence (and driver card) valid throughout Europe. Caving (CIC) and Mountaineering (MIC) instructor offering technical training, advice and leadership above and below ground throughout the year. Specialist in cave and mountain rescue techniques.
