Roger Coates

  I have being running trips since 2000 in various parts of the world, taking over 1000 clients on upwards of 120 trips. I love the outdoors with a passion and hope to enthuse you with my knowledge and love of the area we are in.

     Since I am resident in the UK I spend most of my free time outdoors in all parts of the UK. In my younger days I lived in Scotland and still have a soft spot for the Highlands.

   I am willing to lead groups in all parts of the UK, please email for details.

     The Alps I consider my home territory in the summer season, as I do most of my leading in the Alps. With my local knowledge and contacts I will show you parts of the Alps you will adore as much as me.

    As well as the Alps I have lead groups in Tuscany for five years and the Loire Valley, so am open to any ideas.

     Over my various years of leading I have being lucky enough to lead in Nepal (doing various trips in this region), Mali (taking people to Timbuckto and to see the Dogon people), Tanzania (Killimanjaro), Ghana, the fantastic Cape Verde Islands and the Canary Islands (great areas to walk, away from the usual tourist beaches).
