My husband and I run a UK company called High Trails Ltd from our base in the Swiss Alps. We organise walking, discovery and family trips in the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.

For 3 years we have specialized in organising itineraries and operations for groups and/or individuals wanting to explore the Alps. Our tours include the Tour du Mont Blanc, the Haute Route – Chamonix to Zermatt, the Tour of the Matterhorn and the Bernese Oberland. We also arrange centre-based trips in Chamonix, Zermatt and Interlaken.

Growing up in rural Dorset, I developed a passion for the outdoors from a young age. I spent time exploring and getting to know North Wales and Scotland both independently and with friends.

I have been lucky to lead trips both in summer and winter in many areas of Europe. Some of my favourite areas are the Aiguestortes National Park and Pico Aneto in the Pyrenees, the northern Dolomites and the Gran Paradiso National Park in northern Italy. However, for the last 3 years, I have been living and working in the Mont Blanc Massif, the Pennine Alps and the Bernese Alps. There is a lifetimes worth of walking and trekking here just waiting to be discovered and I love nothing more than exploring and sharing the stunning mountain scenery, varied culture and beautiful natural surroundings.

Since 2000 I have lead supported trekking trips in many of the world’s greater ranges including the Himalayas, the Andes and the Atlas mountains. My favourite treks include Mera Peak and the Simien Mountains.

I have experience in organising camping, hotel or hut-to-hut trips both in Europe and further a field. I aim to offer good value, local knowledge and an unforgettable experience. Please contact me for more details.
