There are the more obvious activities like trekking, walking and snow shoeing but members can also offer other diverse recreational activities including mountain biking, specialist plant or bird holidays or nordic walking.
If you want to improve your skills then members offer courses in winter skills, avalanche awareness, first aid, bushcraft. Many are also involved with the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the John Muir Award schemes Leading to recognised qualifications, some members offer Mountain/Trail Cycle Leader Award and Walking Group Leader Award training and assessment courses.
With a number of our members living abroad in the mountains, many now offer Gite accomodation or have cottages to rent. This is normally coupled with lots of free and worthwhile advice about the surrounding area.
